Notes The western portion of this road is split into two one-way streets in Louisville. AASHTO route logs are incorrect, having 42 ending at KY-61. As of 24 February 2008 there is no signage for 42 westbound beyond I-64 or eastbound before the intersection with Bickel Ave. I propose an "END US 42" sign be put in that goofy shaped traffic island! In Ohio, US-42 is sometimes referred to as State Route 42.
